How to quickly lock chats?
WhatsApp says that you won't have to enter individual chat settings to lock a chat as you can now simply long-press a chat to lock it.
How to access the new WhatsApp Secret code feature?
You just need to open the list of locked chats and tap the three dots at the top. After this, go to Chat Lock settings, turn on "Hide locked chats" and set a secret code you can remember.
After this, your locked chats won't show up in the main chat window, providing more privacy than the current WhatsApp design that displays a shortcut for locked chats when swiping down on the chat screen.
If you want to see your locked chats, simply enter the secret code in the search bar. Remember, this visibility is temporary and lasts only until you exit the app, ensuring a secure and private chat experience.
